Organic Coconut Oil

Organic Coconut Oil

Coconut oil provides a variety of different benefits. From a neurological standpoint, coconut oil, when digested, aides the brain in using ketones rather than its own glucose supply, thus creating an alternative source of brain energy. That, in turn, helps aid Alzheimer’s patients with diminished brain function. Coconut oil’s high level of good cholesterol helps prevent heart disease and high blood pressure, and it also serves as an immune booster due to its lauric acid content. Overall, coconut oil is a functional food that aids the body in many ways.
